Swoon! Earth Escape

The game pitches itself as an "epic retro-style journey," and it absolutely has that classic adventure structure: move through distinct worlds, unlock new abilities, backtrack for secrets, and slowly turn "I can barely survive" into "I basically own this level now."

Where it really stands out is its suit system. Instead of giving you one moveset and stretching it thin, Swoon! gives you multiple wearable suits from your Garage -- each granting skills that change how you navigate and solve problems. The Steam page calls out abilities like Roll, Swirl, and Path Builder, plus specific suits (Adventure, Snow, Steampunk, Sci-Fi) that you can swap between to fight enemies, tackle puzzles, and even create alternate routes. That's a great design choice because it makes exploration feel purposeful: when you spot an unreachable ledge or a suspicious gap, you're not thinking "guess I can't go there," you're thinking "which suit do I need to break this place open?"

The world design also helps keep the pace fresh. You'll travel through five different worlds that blend 2.5D and 3D gameplay, with the store page specifically teasing a shift from something like an adventurous Jurassic Island to a glowing sci-fi setting. That mix does wonders for variety -- 2.5D sections give you clean, readable platforming, while 3D stretches add a more exploratory "poke around corners and hunt for hidden stuff" vibe. The collectible structure supports that nicely too: you're gathering mechanical parts, plus gems and keys that unlock features and rewards.

It's also refreshingly approachable. It's single-player, family-friendly in tone, and clearly built to be inviting rather than punishing -- more "adventure and discovery" than "precision platformer suffering." And while it's currently under-the-radar on Steam (not enough user reviews to generate a score), the game itself has the kind of clean, content-forward pitch that makes it easy to recommend to anyone who likes colorful platformers with gadgets, secrets, and a steady drip of progression.
