Apex Legends ends support on original Switch after Season 29

Respawn Entertainment announced Apex Legends will stop launching on the original Nintendo Switch after Season 29.

Starting Aug 4, 2026, players on the 2017 console will no longer be able to join matches or spend in-game currency.

Progress and items remain tied to player accounts and can transfer to the newer Switch 2.
