Pragmata leads PlayStation Store April downloads in Asia
Sony has published the Southeast Asia PlayStation Store top downloads for April 2026, and the Asia PS5 chart has a clear winner: Pragmata. Capcom’s new sci-fi action-adventure took the number one spot in Asia, followed by Crimson Desert, Dead Island 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate and EA Sports FC 26. That is a strong signal for Capcom because Pragmata is a new IP, not another sequel in an already established franchise. The US and Canada chart still looked very different, with MLB The Show 26 taking first place, but the Asia ranking shows that sci-fi action and character-driven new worlds can still break through. PS VR2 also had movement, with Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes appearing in the chart, while NTE: Neverness to Everness showed up in free-to-play. For GameForce Asia readers, the practical takeaway is simple: April was not only about legacy brands. Pragmata is now one of 2026’s clearest new-IP success stories in the region.
