Hollowbody brings tech-noir survival horror to PS5 and Xbox Series on June 4

Hollowbody is coming to consoles on June 4, giving PS5 and Xbox Series players a chance to experience one of the more atmospheric indie survival horror games of recent years. Developer Headware Games has priced the console version at $16.99 / €15.99, with PlayStation Store pre-orders opening on May 8 and Microsoft Store pre-orders following on May 22. The game first launched for PC in September 2024 and built attention around its tech-noir setting, fixed-camera survival horror style and oppressive mood. For players who miss the slower, more deliberate style of classic horror, Hollowbody is worth watching because it is not trying to be a loud action game. It leans into isolation, environmental storytelling and resource pressure. The console release also helps extend the life of a strong indie horror project beyond PC. With The Sinking City 2 and other horror games also circling the 2026 calendar, Hollowbody gives genre fans a smaller but potentially sharper option in June.
