Epic Games Store reports record 2025 spending and new features

Epic's year-in-review reports third-party PC game spending on the Epic Games Store rose 57% to $400 million in 2025, while players logged 2.78 billion hours.

Monthly active users peaked at 78 million in December, and the Free Games program delivered 100 titles with 662 million claims.

Epic also launched web shops for in-game sales, expanded its revenue share so developers keep 100% of their first $1 million annually, and plans a rebuilt launcher with faster performance and new social features.
