New York Times Crossplay passes 1 million downloads

New York Times Games announced Crossplay has surpassed 1 million downloads and reached the top of the App Store free-games chart.

Launched Jan 21, Crossplay lets players build words on a shared board in real time, with in-game chat and a Cross Bot tool that analyzes performance.

NYT Games leadership says the app expands its portfolio with social word-game competition.
