Overwatch drops the “2” and starts a year-long story arc

Blizzard is rebranding Overwatch 2 to simply Overwatch to mark the franchise's 10-year anniversary.

The change kicks off The Reign of Talon, a year-long narrative arc spanning Seasons 1-6 with a fully connected storyline.

Season 1 launches Feb 10 and introduces five new heroes, with 10 new heroes planned through 2026.
