Tales of Arise and Yoshi file sizes show Switch 2 storage pressure building
Nintendo Switch 2 owners may want to keep an eye on storage before the next wave of releases. New eShop listings show Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition at 55.8GB, making it one of the larger upcoming Switch 2 downloads. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is listed at 20.6GB, while FZ: Formation Z comes in at 6.8GB, R-Type Dimensions 3 at 2.7GB and Bubsy 4D at 2.6GB. Coffee Talk Tokyo is much lighter at 489MB on Switch 2. This kind of file-size news sounds boring until your internal storage is suddenly gone. Switch 2’s stronger third-party support is great, but bigger ports also mean bigger installs. Tales of Arise in particular shows how JRPGs with large assets, voice, video and expansion content can quickly become storage-heavy. For players planning to go mostly digital, the message is obvious: start thinking about SD cards and storage management now, not when the download fails.
